If you're an adolescent then for sure you're going through changes. If on top of that you've had to deal with bullying, changing schools, or the loss of a loved one, that can be tough. I totally get it. Or maybe it's been hard not being with your friends.
There's no one "right" way to process stuff like this. Even when parents and teachers are well-meaning, sometimes it's just really hard to talk to them. I'm a little different from some of the grown-ups you know. I won't judge and I promise to be myself so that way you know that you can too.
If you're not ready to talk yet, we can start out by learning some cool stuff about your brain or drawing or just experimenting with some savage, science-based techniques that can get you feeling better. Then whenever you're ready to talk, I'm ready to listen.
It's possible to grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move on to where you want to be in your life. Some adolescents think I'm funny; others say it's easy to talk to me. If you give me a call, we can figure out together if I might be able to help you.
