Rates and Policies

Please note: Fees are increased annually on August 1st. 

Fees are calculated to include the costs of practice management software, internet access, telephone and voice mail service, credit card processing, marketing, HIPAA-compliant electronic health record storage software, vacation and sick days, office supplies, office space maintenance, registration renewal, and continuing education. Extended sessions, when applicable, will be pro-rated according to the base rate above. 

 Because I am concerned that you get the most out of therapy and maintain your momentum once we get started, I am only scheduling new clients who are ready to do the work and can initially commit to consistent weekly sessions.

Billing takes place via credit card on file for your convenience.  Fees are due at the time of service and will be billed through SimplePractice, a secure HIPAA-compliant platform.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so within 24 hours of your originally scheduled time to avoid a cancellation fee. 

Christian Counseling Center San Jose is an out-of-network provider for most insurance companies.  You will be provided with a monthly Super Bill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company if you have any questions about their policies.  

Clients' confidentiality will be strictly maintained except for supervisory discussions, court order, or instances of child abuse, elder abuse or intent to harm themselves or another person, as psychotherapists are mandated reporters in the state of California. Information obtained during clinical sessions may be discussed within the context of a supervision group in order to ensure quality counseling.
